St. Pete Nightlife: Where to Start

Most of St. Pete's nightlife is in two places: downtown and Central Avenue. The beach has its own late bars.

Live music in St. Pete

Jannus Live is the open-air concert courtyard downtown. Ruby's Elixir has live music seven nights a week, with sets usually starting at 6:30pm. The Bends puts on free shows.

Where to dance in St. Pete

Cocktail St. Pete is the LGBTQ+ bar and dance club in Grand Central. Enigma has been in the EDGE District since 2014. The Crafty Squirrel is the loud one downtown, with DJs all week.

St. Pete bars open the latest

The Mandarin Hide stays open until 3am six nights a week. We only call a place late when it posts hours past midnight.

Late on the beach

Ka'Tiki on Sunset Beach has had live bands seven days a week since 1982. Jimmy B's has two stages, one outside by day and one inside at night.

Two St. Pete music rooms that are gone

The Hideaway Cafe closed on 30 April 2022. The Floridian Social, in the old State Theatre, now does private events only.
